BLACK FOOTWEAR FORUM | 2019 Conference

PROJECT MANAGER + PRODUCER

The Black Footwear Forum (previously known as the African American Footwear Forum) is a leadership-driven platform celebrating and advancing Black influence, creativity, and executive presence within the global footwear industry. In 2019, I led end-to-end planning and production for the conference at the Portland Art Museum, convening 25 industry-leading speakers - including Scoop Jackson, Baron Davis, and Bobbito Garcia - alongside major sportswear brands, media partners, and cultural leaders. The program integrated live podcast tapings, documentary film crews, musical performances, DJs, and branded experiences, culminating in a curated VIP dinner and after-party for key industry stakeholders. I directed all production strategy, talent coordination, vendor management, and on-site execution to deliver a seamless, high-profile convening within a museum setting.
